The New Headbanger Movement
Young entrepreneurial women create popular fashion accessory line attracting celebs and stylist.

OAKLAND, CA, May 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- What began as an experimental way for three friends to display original art with swagger, HeadbangerTM Accessories has brought new meaning to the term, Big Bang Theory. Bay Area natives and designers, Shayla Jamerson, Tasha Dial & Tiffany Stapleton, are taking this $16.3 billion accessory industry by storm with their innovative and eclectic earrings and accessories. HeadbangerTM Accessories has quickly blossomed into a chic underground fashion movement for fashion-conscious women looking for a unique style.

Lisa Wu Hartwell, star of Bravo TV's Real Housewives of Atlanta, and hip-hop recording artists, Electrik Red are some of the many celebrities already flaunting Headbangers. Fashion stylists from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York are gobbling up Headbangers to satisfy their client's need for one-of-a-kind couture fashion. Haute Thrif'Ture stylist featured a pair of Headbangers in a recent fashion photo shoot for the Las Vegas Review Journal. "...our signature style is really becoming a recognizable fashion icon...fans know when they're 'bangin'," says Tasha Dial, managing partner and designer.

Hundreds of Bay Area fashion elite turned out on a rainy May 1, 2009 to attend the commercial debut and launch of Headbanger'sTM spring line. "We are simply amazed at the sheer number of woman, and men, who support Headbanger Accessories and faithfully follow our events. And we try not to disappoint our fans, so each event brings something different," Dial said. Most came for the spring line, but many were there just to be part of the trendy in-crowd at the stylish soiree hosted at 300 Lakeside Drive in Oakland. Guests selected their favorite commercial during the Viewers Choice vote while die-hard Headbanger followers packed the VIP Lounge sipping on Nuvo, the world's first sparkling vodka (www.sparklingnuvo.com). Nuvo, the event sponsor, added the ideal "cool points" to the Headbanger movement. The 7-minute long commercial clip, which featured 3 different commercial directed by Razmatazz Filmworks, can be seen at http://www.headbangeraccesories.com/ along with pictures from the event.

Ms. Jamerson, Ms. Dial and Ms. Stapleton all grew up in the Bay Area and joined forces to create HeadbangerTM Accessories in 2008, which is headquartered in Oakland. These young entrepreneurs and business partners say that they fulfill their mission with every head they 'bang'. Earrings are moderately priced from $25-150; couture and custom accessories priced slightly higher and are available on-line and at select retailers.
