LAS VEGAS, NV, August 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barnhart, who continues to perform his stand-up show in Las Vegas 8-10 weeks a year was just given the International Performing Artists "Bob Hope - Humanitarian Award" for his tireless dedication producing and performing comedy show for the troop stationed around the world. He was also nominated for the Las Vegas Review-Journal's 2010 "Best Comedian" award and was certified as a hypnotist by the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. HMI has earned the distinction of being America's first hypnotherapy training institution to become nationally accredited.

Barnhart had already established himself as one of the top comedians working today. Audiences say Don reminds them of a young George Carlin with the physical characterizations of Jim Carey making him funny on so many different levels. He is an accomplished actor, certified hypnotist, published author and filmmaker with numerous television and film credits and is still a favorite headliner at the top comedy clubs and cruise ships.
