Comedy sensation Don Barnhart and recipient of the Bob Hope award for entertaining the troops returns home to The Las Vegas Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's for special performance Nov 2-7.

LAS VEGAS, NV, November 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Award winning comedian Don Barnhart returns to his home of Las Vegas to appear in a special stand up comedy performance at The Improv at Harrah's Hotel November 2 through 7th, 2010.

Barnhart, a resident of Vegas since 2000, has been on tour around the world with his stand up act and just received the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for his continued service of producing and performing comedy shows for the troops and most recently, Don and his wife/producing partner Linda Vu spent time in the middle east with actors Christian Slater and Kal Penn performing and visiting with troops boosting the morale of the service men and women overseas.

Don is also a certified hypnotist and performs a family friendly comedy hypnosis show and had his own run in Las Vegas this past summer. He is one of the only family friendly hypnosis acts working the strip and hope to find a permanent home in Las Vegas for his stage hypnosis show.

The Award-winning comedian, Second City Conservatory Alumni and Certified Hypnotist has combined his comedy and improvisational skills to create one of the most unique, interactive and funniest comedy-hypnosis shows in the world. The Don Barnhart's Comedy Hypnosis Show is part stand up comedy, part improvisation, part hypnosis and a little bit of America's Got Talent and full on funny!

Don Barnhart's Comedy Hypnosis Show has been selling out to record numbers all over the United States and has already become one of the most requested acts on the world wide cruise ship circuit. "I love doing the comedy and hypnosis show as it let's the audience experience the joy and fun of making people laugh", say Barnhart. "I still love doing straight stand up and will always continue to perform. Don recently wrote, directed and starred in the indie thriller, "China Dolls" and can be heard regularly on The Bob and Tom Show and XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. He is a veteran performer for The USO and Comics On Duty and has been entertaining the troops around the world for the last seventeen years. Barnhart continues to produce shows and perform for the military several times a year.

Barnhart is also the writer, director and star of the upcoming comedy film, "Freeloader" and was nominated for the 2010 "Best Comedian" in Las Vegas.
